On March 26, 2023 Kaja earned her AKC Detective title, the highest level scentwork title there is in AKC. It takes 10 qualifications in different Detective searches to earn this title. Our first 9 attempts at Detective ended in failure. Then we turned the corner and did what we needed to do.
The judge is this Detective search is one of the most difficult AKC judges to earn a Detective qualification under. We trialed under her one time before and did not qualify.
In this search where we earned the title, we were given a search time of 10 minutes to find between 5-10 hides.
